Children are growing up too fast these days fro anyones comfort. They seem to learn faster and as long as it is limited to this all parents seem to revel in the thought that their child is a fast learner. But this also implies that they will enter start behaving like teenagers much sooner. Teenagers seem to grow up and change from playing to dolls to applying make-up almost overnight. It sometimes comes as quite a shock to the parent who has not been looking hard enough.

The media and exposure to a vast area of information has fermented this change that is occurring in our teens today. Teen magazines have a particularly high impact on the mindset of the teens and they seem to be enamored by the information that is provided on the latest pop stars and models. Teen magazines have changed over time to cater to the growing curiosity of the children. Earlier these magazines talked about the favorite color or the favorite attire of a celebrity but now they publish relationship facts, make-up tips and hair tips to lure the teens into trying these themselves.

They no longer give the ethically right message of waiting for the right person to come along to take the plunge but discuss ways and means of attracting the hottest boy in town and how to get him and keep him. All this talk puts a lot of pressure on the teen girls to have a guy who is in with the times and to flaunt him. This leads to a lot of issues with more and more teens trying to imitate the pop stars and celebrities. They yearn for the skinny, emaciated look and diet and a large proportion get anorexic. They worry about a bad hair day and want to miss school if they even have a tiny spec of a zit on their face.

Even as the parents protest about the influence that the ten magazines have over teen kids and the irresponsible manner in which the corporate companies are behaving, these protests are refuted by the companies under the pretext that these magazines are meant for the sixteen plus kids. In fact, these companies want to make the best of this trend and try and lure teens into more and more consumerism and model aping to make higher profits and earn more money.

Many women and now men love reading fashion magazines, partly because they see the models and the lifestyle and this is something they want to be a part of. Many people dislike fashion magazines as they see them as just one long advert. Going from page to page, many of the stories look like adverts with just pictures of clothes and no real explanation about who they would suit best.

However, there are many positive things that can be said about fashion magazines and what they can offer you. The best thing about these magazines is that they now not only show skinny models but have also branched out into showing voluptuous and plus size men and women that consumers appreciate. Gone is the belief that only reed-thin people have the right to look good and be fashionable. Designers have realised that the market of plus-sized consumers is now much larger and so they have made designs specifically for this niche market.

You can also find useful tips on how to mix and match clothes you already have in your wardrobe to create a great new look. Sometimes, you will also find high street clothes that are in the style of top designer clothes which will enable you to create that designer look for a decent cost. In fact, some of the better fashion magazines will feature high street shops where you can find great buys without costing more than you can afford. Others also feature the regular working class donning designer apparel to emphasize that everybody can and should wear whatever they feel comfortable in.

As more and more people recognize the dangers of wanting to be thin in the belief that thinner people look better, fashion magazines also build awareness on eating disorders and other such diseases that may result from crash diets and starving yourself to achieve what you consider your ideal weight. Publishers have become more responsible in making their readers aware of being healthy no matter what your size is. This is one major factor why consumers no longer scoff at the thought of anyone consulting a fashion magazine for whatever reason.

Magazines have been around for many years. Of course, they began in a typical fashion, as simply words that were written down to attract customers. The actual history of the magazine can be traced back to the newspaper industry. The newspaper industry wanted to do more in-depth articles and articles that required much more research than the columns that were featured on a daily basis. When newspapers began, it was simply a way of communicating news. At times, reporters would work around the clock in order to make a piece of news available to the world. Newspapers became immensely popular because, in those days, people looked to the papers for breaking news. Newspapers became a reliable source for current information.

However, because of this trend, some reporters were frustrated by the fact that they did not have time to do in depth stories. Newspaper editors and owners wanted to explore the possibility of putting out an expanded version of their papers, but they didn’t want to sacrifice the money that the daily newspapers brought in. Because of this, some of the biggest newspapers had the idea to put inserts in their weekend editions. They would have an insert that would have longer length stories and photos. These stories would be worked on by reporters all week, so they were able to be more detailed. Then, they would be put out once a week by the papers.

Of course, this was an idea that soon took off. The readers loved having these small inserts to be able to take with them and read at their leisure. The newspaper editors soon realized that there would be a market for newspaper-like publications. These publications would hold news as well as other public interest stories, but they wouldn’t be put out every day. This would give the staff the chance to write longer and more interesting stories, and to do in-depth research that would allow them to give even more information. These editors soon became the first magazine editors.

Nowadays, magazines can be found on many different topics. In fact, there are hardly any niches left to fill for magazine hopefuls. Schools put out magazines for various reasons, as do companies and businesses. The industry has completely grown and flourished. There are, of course, still general news magazines that have hit the stands for many weeks, year after year. These are magazines that focus on news stories, but that have longer and more in depth stories than newspapers can provide. These are all important magazines because they create many different opinions and call many issues to light. The other side of the current magazine industry is known as gossip magazines. These are magazines that focus on the people, and often focus on gossip that relates to celebrities and other people that are well known.
